Terms and Conditions – for Events/Conferences/Weddings etc..

SECURITY BOND
A bond of either $1000 per house or $6000 for an exclusive Corporate Event to cover the entire property is to be paid 7 days prior to arrival. This can be paid either by Visa, Mastercard or bank transfer.  Your bond will be refunded 7 days after checkout subject to the conditions within this document and the regular booking terms and conditions being met. Should any damage/missing items amount to an excess of over $6000, management reserves the right to reclaim any financial loss incurred and the guest agrees to pay the outstanding amount due.
For all event bond claims a 10% admin fee of the total claim amount will be added to the amount and deducted from your bond.

EVENTS
Byron Luxury Beach Houses can only be used for weddings/conferences/corporate events and or other functions with written/email permission from management.  If it comes to our attention that the property is being misused by the guests they will be asked to leave the property immediately without any refund.

EVENTS MANAGER  – COORDINATOR
An Events Coordinator must be appointed and our managing Agent must be notified. If you do not have an event coordinator we will provide you with contacts to help guide you through the experience, which will include information regarding in-house chefs, caterers, off/on site conference facilities, hire equipment including chairs, tables etc.  They can put together a great package for you and your group and you can liaise with them throughout your event.
Catering on Site – All caterers must provide they own equipment, including crockery, cutlery, glassware etc , No usage of any BLBH dishes, glassware are to be used by the catering company – all breakages are included in the caterers invoice.   All Caterers must be approved by BLBH.

Please be aware when booking the BLBH’s we have a strict policy that removing/moving any items/furniture from house to house is strictly not allowed as this may cause unnecessary damage and staff difficultly when housekeeping checks are done.  This includes decking table and chairs and kitchen items.  If this is reported by staff the cost involved to repair damage/reinstate furniture will be deducted from your bond.

POOL & EVENT RSA
All caterers must be RSA approved (responsible service of alcohol) and must adhere to the law of closing the POOL at all events – for safety reasons.

EXTRA RUBBISH REMOVAL
There are rubbish bins located on the side of all houses.  All excess rubbish from events must be removed from the property  – extra charges for excessive rubbish may be deducted from your bond.

SERVICING AND CLEANING
Extra Servicing including fresh towels can be provided for your stay at an extra charge.
